The Golf Shop is making room for new merchandise. The AM & E Custom headcovers & Imperial Headwear arrived and are ready for you at the Golf Shop. Outerwear from FootJoy, Under Armour and Donald Ross will begin arriving late September through mid-November. Blair and I met with the FootJoy Sales Rep and put together our prebook orders for apparel and footwear for the next 8 months. Short sleeve & long sleeve tee shirts and Hoodies will be arriving before October 1st.
Our next club fitting will be Friday October 13th with Mizuno Golf from 12pm-4pm. Appointments can be made with the Golf Shop Staff starting September 13th.
The Individual Hutch Cup is ongoing. The Gross Division Bracket are currently playing their Semi Finals Matches while the Net Division Bracket are currently playing their Quarter Final Matches.
The Club Championship will be held Saturday & Sunday September 9-10 with Tee Times beginning at 9am off #1 Tee. We are up to about 50 players for this event, and we will continue to take signups until Wednesday, September 6th at 5pm. Non-Tournament Member Tee Times will begin about 1pm Saturday & Sunday.
The Member-Guest is scheduled for October 6-8th and is filling up nicely with 58 con-firmed teams registered. 60 Teams is a full field, then we will start a waiting list. The Junior Club Championship will be held October 14-15th. and will use a few tee times beginning at 12:24pm playing 9-Holes each day. The Golf Shop Staff will start taking signups in a few weeks. The Senior Member Guest one day event will be held Tuesday, October 17th at 10am. Details and Signups will begin September 12th.
Co-ed Golf Instruction Sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 12th at 10am and Saturday, September 23rd at 10:30am. Both clinics will last one hour and are open to all our Club Members. The cost is $20 per session. Sign up by calling the Golf Shop.
TEE TIMES: Please remember to Cancel All Unused Tee Times –
Call the golf shop and leave a message if it’s after hours when cancelling Tee Times or Cancel your tee times online if you’re not going to play. If you didn’t know, we currently have 475 members with a waiting list. Everyone needs to be mindful of fellow club members and cancel tee times. Please don’t be a “NO CALL or NO SHOW” on your tee times. Tee Times can be made 10 days out by either calling the golf shop or by reserving a tee time at our website. We would like you to add the players’ names who are joining you to your tee time reservations.
Make sure that when reserving your tee time, you book it for one, two, three, four or five players by calling the golf shop or online. This ensures that other members don’t book on your tee time when you’re expecting more players than what is booked.
Check out the Brickyard website for information and utilize the member login tab. It allows you to make online tee times, view the tee sheets 10 days out and much more. If you need help setting yours up, see the front office ladies and they will get you set up.
