Swimming at The Brickyard
According to Governor Kemp’s executive order issued May 12, 2020 and on the advice of the Monroe County Health Department, swimming pools can be open. The guidelines require social distancing of 6 feet around the pool deck. Family members who co-habitate do not have to social distance. Anyone who has a fever of 100.4 or greater is forbidden to use the facility. Each person shall follow CDC sanitation recommendations.
The pool officially opened on Saturday, May23rd. The pool will be open from 10am to 7pm Tuesday through Sunday until further notice. Last day of swimming season is Labor Day 2020.
No guests are allowed; only members and their immediate family under the age of 23 are allowed. Grandparents and grandchildren are allowed.
Food service will be available between the hours of 11am to 4pm. Beverage service is available during the entire pool hours. Personal coolers and bringing food or beverages to the pool is forbidden.
Pool and Snack Pavilion
- Salt water pool.
- Pavilion with snack bar and restrooms.
- Lifeguard(s) on duty.
- Poolside food and beverage service.
- Members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren – no charge.
Please note our policy while there is lightning nearby. For the safety of our members and their guests, when lightning is within a 5 mile radius, the siren will sound letting everyone on the premises know that the course and pool will be closed at that time. Everyone must leave the course and pool area once the siren has been sounded. The clubhouse is your safe haven.
