The summer is winding down and the kids are headed back to school.
The August Ladies Clinic will be on Saturday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 22nd. They begin at 10:30am and both clinics will last one hour. Cost is $20 per session.
The Brickyard PGA Junior Golf was a great success. We had 25 juniors, 4 girls and 21 boys, in the program. It was a 4-month program that included instruction and 2-person scramble competition against Houston Lake Country Club and Southern Landings Golf Club. I want to thank the juniors, all the parents, grandparents, and my staff for all their time and help with the program. We hope to improve on the 2023 program and make the 2024 program even better. We will start it up again in April of 2024.
We are having an enormous number of good un-broken golf tees being left on the tee boxes each day. The tees are complimentary, and we ask that you please tidy up the tee boxes and pick up all the unbroken tees and re-use these during your rounds or just put them in the golf cart glove compartments and our staff will take care of the tees. It looks nicer on the tee boxes, helps to keep the mower reels sharp and is a benefit of being a member at the Brickyard Golf Club.
Please remember to call or cancel online your tee times if you’re not using. Tee Times can be made 10 days out by either calling the golf shop or by reserving a tee time at our web-site. We’ve noticed an improvement during the past few months on members signing in at the golf shop. Thank you. Please continue signing in at the golf shop before going onto the course. Make sure that when reserving your tee time, either through calling the golf shop or online, you book it for one, two, three, four or five players. This ensures that other members don’t book on your tee time when you’re expecting more players than what is booked.
