The Junior Club Championship will be held on October 14-15. The cost is $25 which includes golf shop credit book winnings & a complimentary golf cart for you each day that your Parent or Grand Parent drives. You will play the front 9 holes on Saturday beginning at 12:30pm, then play the back 9 holes on Sunday beginning at 1:30pm. Signup by completing the entry form at the Golf Shop. We have 3 entries so far. The Jr. Club Championship is small and will not affect our Regular Member play.
The one-day Senior Men’s Member Guest is scheduled for Tuesday October 17th at 10am. The for-mat is a 9-Hole Scramble & 9 Hole Shamble, flighted, lunch and awards will take place. Lots of fun and fellowship. Details at the golf shop. We have 17 entries so far.
Mizuno Fitting Day is scheduled for Friday October 13th 12pm-4pm. We will have a Certified Mizuno Fitter using a Launch Monitor to accurately fit you for Woods or Irons. Sign up by calling or stop-ping by the golf shop. This is a member benefit, members receive 10% off on all purchases, and by far the best way to correctly purchase new Mizuno Golf Clubs.
We will be hosting a Junior Tour Event presented by Under Armour in the Middle Georgia League on December 3rd. This will be played on a Sunday afternoon, playing the Back 9 holes 10-18 and begin-ning at 1:30pm. Details can be found at www.uagolftour.com. This event last year featured 7 of our club members playing. This event will have an effect only Holes 10-18 from 1:30pm till the end of day. Member play will be limited to playing only the Front 9 Holes 1-9 from 1:30pm till end of day.
The Brick Cup Finale, featuring the top 32 Point Getters for the 2023 Member Events, will be held on Saturday November 11th . Once the Member Guest is played, point totals will be updated, and 2 Captains will be selected, and each Captain’s team will have 16 Players. A Pairings Party will take place in the Pavilion featuring each Captain selecting and announcing their Match Pairings. This will be a lot of fun and a great ending to a terrific year of events.
The October member golf clinic will be on Tuesday October 24th at 11am and Saturday October 28th and will begin at 10:30am. Both clinics will last one hour. Cost is $20 per session. Signup by calling the Golf Shop.
