The Golf Shop will resume the Saturday Morning “DOGFIGHT” Stableford Points Game this Saturday June 3rd. Cost is $10 cash, tell us your Tees being played and turn your points/scorecard to the golf shop after your round. Payouts to most +/- points vs quota and Closest to Pins.
Tournaments that are available for our members: (June 10-11 = Spring Invitational) “formerly known as the Dixie Classic” (June 24-25 = Macon Middle Georgia Golf Championship) (July 8-9 = Member-Member) Brochures and information can be found at the golf shop.
June-October = Hutch Cup Individual Match Play Bracketed Tournaments – “NET Bracketed 32 player Event” – “GROSS Bracketed 16 player Event.” Signups will take place beginning Friday June 2nd. The 2023 Tournament Calendar is posted in both locker rooms inside the clubhouse.
The Brickyard Junior Golf Camp will be Tuesday-Friday, June 13-June 16 from 8:30am-11am. The cost is $125 for Members and $150 for non-members. It covers instruction, daily refreshments and much more. Call to sign up at the golf shop.
The Brickyard PGA Junior Golf League has begun, and practices are on Thursdays from 4pm-6pm. The season started April 1 and runs through July 31. Our first away match will be June 3rd at 4pm at Southern Landings and July 29th against Southern Landings at the Brickyard. Matches against Houston Lake will have the dates confirmed soon. We have 25 PGA Juniors in our Brickyard Program.
We hope you are enjoying the nine-month-old EZ-GO golf carts. We are adjusting the GEO Fences as members notify us of problem areas, like #7 greenside turnaround and # 8 tee box clear to hit alert. Please continue to let us know of situations that need our attention. We are all here to provide a very good & consistent member experience. Please continue to check in the golf shop, sign your receipt for your golf cart and match up the key number with the cart number. The system is working out great and we appre-ciate your help with this important part of being a club member.
Please remember to call or cancel your tee times online so that other club members may use them. Tee Times can be made 10 days out by either calling the golf shop or by reserving a tee time at our website. Please continue signing in at the golf shop before going onto the course.
Lastly, check out the Brickyard website for information and utilize the member login tab. It allows you to make online tee times, view the tee sheets 10 days out and much more. If you need help setting yours up, see the front office ladies and they will get you set up.
