Briane Faletto Class A Golf Course Superintendent

Well, we made it through another summer and are ready for the fall and the cooler temperatures. We hope everyone has been enjoying the course. We have been busy keeping it in the best shape possible for our members. We have been doing small things to the greens to keep them healthy, like verti-cutting, needle tine aerification, & fertilizing & spraying fungicides.

We have purchased a new rough mower, a TriMax Snake 320, & a John Deere tractor to pull it. It has a much smoother cut and disperses the clippings better. It also cuts down on the rough mowing time. In September, we will be busy preparing the course for the upcoming winter months. We will be spraying a pre-emerge to the entire course to help control the winter weeds. We also will be putting out our fall fertilizer on the course. This will take place on Thursday, September 17th. Please be patient with us with us, as we complete these important tasks. We might need to make it cart path only or close down 9 holes until we finish.
Please remember to fix all ball marks on the greens and fill in those divots in the fairways. Also, please remember to enter the bunkers at the low point. We have been seeing some tracks on the bunker slopes.

Thank you and see you all on the course!!!
