Seasons Greetings from the Golf Course Maintenance Department!
This month on the golf course we will be working on items from our winter project list. With the guidance of the Club President and the Greens and Grounds Committee, we have developed a prioritized list of projects that we are able to get done in the winter months. We have already completed some of them and will continue to complete them until March. Some tasks on this list include tree pruning and removal, repairing damaged cart paths, adding mulch to the course, and cleaning up the wooded areas between holes, to just name a few. In the Spring we have some sod projects that we are aiming to get completed.
Please help us with the cart traffic on the course. If you see an area that is get-ting worn down from cart traffic, please try to avoid it and use a new route. Al-so, we purchased some new light weight bunker rakes. Please remember to keep the rakes IN the bunkers. New Red Flags have been put out to improve visibility through the winter months.
